The 6th Global Conference on Foodborne Antimicrobial Resistance (GCFA) Secretariat, managed by DEXCO (hereinafter referred to as "the Secretariat"), values your privacy and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. This policy outlines how the Secretariat collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

1. Items of Personal Information Collected and Methods of Collection
The Secretariat collects the following information for conference preparation and operation:

1) Collected Items

Required: Full Name (Native/English), Registration Category, Affiliation (Native/English), Job Title (Native/English), E-mail, Mobile Phone Number.

Optional: Department, Office Phone Number, Dietary Requirements (Vegetarian).

Collection Methods: Online pre-registration, on-site registration, and inquiries (phone/email).

2) Information Generated During Service Use

Service usage records, access logs, cookies, IP addresses, etc.

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Secretariat uses the collected personal information for the following purposes:

Management of participants for the 6th GCFA.

Event operations and delivery of essential conference notices.

Provision of promotional materials related to the conference.

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
Retention Period: Personal information will be retained and used for one year after the conclusion of the conference.

Upon withdrawal of consent or a formal request for deletion by the participant, the Secretariat will destroy the information without delay, except when retention is required by applicable laws.

4. Procedures and Methods of Destruction
Procedures: After the purpose of collection is achieved, the information is moved to a separate database and stored for a certain period according to internal policies and relevant laws before being destroyed.

Methods: Personal information stored in electronic files is deleted using technical methods that prevent data recovery.

5. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives
Users may decline to consent to the collection of personal information. However, please note that refusal may restrict your ability to register for the conference.

Participants may inquire about, modify, or delete their registration information at any time through the "Registration Update" portal after identity verification.
